Salary will be guaranteed by the hospital at 25% of MGMA earnings for a VS practicing in the West, about 180k plus malpractice. Future earnings will only be limited by his/her ability to earn money practicing vascular surgery. Hospital will cover relocation as well. Partnership after one year. The current surgeon will help build referrals for the new surgeon who will take half the call. No tail coverage. This practice treats most vascular diseases, the principal focus is on the complex thoracic outlet syndrome, limb preservation, stroke prevention, complex aortic surgery, venous stasis ulcers of the legs. The current surgeon looking to slow down in the next 5 years and work on the business side of things. Candidates must have good ethics, strong values and be interested in giving back to the medical community. This opportunity is not limited and can involve cases outside of specialty, chest and cosmetic varicose veins, etc. Candidates must be able to qualify for endovascular privileges as well.
